- Should include a single rod design for both operations.
- As a jack bar, it must lift the vehicle at least 100 mm from the ground.
- Must have a mount for a fire extinguisher.
Roll Hoops Safety Structure
Main Roll Hoop
- A roll hoop is mandatory to separate the driver's compartment from the vehicle's rear.
- Must be made of a single continuous piece of closed section steel tubing.
- Aluminum, titanium, or composite materials require a proper analysis report.
- The main hoop needs to extend from the lowest frame member on one side, over the driver, to the lowest frame member on the opposite side.
- In side view, the hoop above attachment must be within 10° of vertical.
- The tip of the roll hoop should be at least 6 inches away from the driver's helmet when the driver is at rest.
Front Roll Hoop
- Constructed from closed section metal tubing.
- Similar extending requirement as the main roll hoop.
- Can be made from multiple pieces if properly gusseted or triangulated.
- Must be no lower than the top of the steering wheel, regardless of its position.
- Should not extend more than 250 mm forward of the steering wheel, measured horizontally.
Brake System Regulations
Brake Over-Travel Switch
- A brake pedal over-travel switch is required as part of the shutdown system.
- Must be wired in series with the shutdown buttons.

Suspension Standards
- Full suspension systems with shock absorbers are mandatory for all wheels.
- Visible suspension mounting points must be available for inspection.
- Wishbone/A-Arm must be seamless tubing.
- Suspension system requires a minimum travel of 4 inches (2 inches jounce and 2 inches rebound).
Electrical and Drive Train Requirements
- Direct drive or motors with 2/4 speed gearboxes are permitted.
- High-speed final drive components must have scatter shields.
- An electrical accelerator pedal with positive and negative stops is required.
- Three easily reachable push-twist kill switches must be installed, with strict mounting regulations.
- Proper fusing for the tractive system and audible warning devices (105 dB) are also necessary.
Driver’s Requirements
