Vehicle Inspections
- Registration of a vehicle must be made within 60 days of inspection.
- A vehicle inspection is valid for the entire registration period.
Operation of a Vehicle Without Inspection
- A motor vehicle can be operated without a current state registration license for the purpose of obtaining an inspection, but only over the most direct route between the owner's usual place of residence and an inspection station of the owner's choice.
Newly Manufactured Vehicles

Failure of a State Vehicle Inspection
