V Sit & Reach Test Overview
- Assesses flexibility, primarily targeting hamstrings and lower back.

Required Equipment
- A yardstick is essential for measurement.
- Tape is needed to secure the yardstick and mark the reaching position.
Test Procedure
- Secure the yardstick to the ground and place tape at the 15-inch mark to form a T-shape.
- The participant sits with the measuring tape between their legs, forming a 'V' with the 0 mark towards their body.
- Toes should be pointed upwards, and heels should just touch the tape.
- The participant reaches forward with both hands as far as possible, ensuring hands remain together throughout the movement.
- Conduct three trials, recording the best score which is rounded to the nearest centimeter or 0.25 inch.
Scoring
- The score reflects the maximum distance reached, based on the best result from the three trials.
