Changing Email Address
- To change email, check with agent to ensure new email is not tied to another account
- If new email is tied to another account, provide a new email address not tied to any account
Deleting Shopee Account to Unlink Email
- Deleting account can unlink new email address
- To delete Shopee account, follow these steps:
- Go to "Me" tab in Shopee App
- Select ⚙️ icon
- Choose "Request Account Deletion"
- Confirm by clicking "OK"
- Enter Verification Code sent via SMS
- Select reason for account deletion
- Enter Email Address
- Check "Terms & Conditions" checkbox
- Click "Submit"
Cash On Delivery (COD) Payment Method
- Available for Shopee Supported Logistics channels: SPX Express, DHL eCommerce, Ninja Van, and J&T Express
Logistics Services Coverage
- DHL eCommerce: West Malaysia (WM) and East Malaysia (EM) (selected postcodes ONLY)
- Ninja Van: WM and EM (selected postcodes ONLY)
- SPX Express: WM only
- J&T Express: WM only
Important Points to Note
- Only sellers enabled for the SPX Express channel have access to Sea Shipping and Buyer Self Collection (BSC) channels
- Disabling Sea Shipping or BSC channel will also deactivate Doorstep Delivery channel
- Sellers who opt out of SPX Express channel will not have access to Sea Shipping and BSC channels
Benefits of Enabling COD Payment Method
- Exclusive features: Sellers can be featured on the COD microsite with hot-selling products
- Free discount vouchers for new users to boost sales
- Free returns: Failed deliveries will be returned at zero cost to sellers, and Shopee will compensate for damaged returns (case to case basis)
Customization of Products
- Allows customers to select features like color, design, functionalities, or add-on components for unique items
- Examples: custom name on merchandise, custom sticker, custom fabric, custom mix paint spray, custom frame, custom jersey shirt number/name
Eligibility Criteria for Disabling COD Payment Method
- Sellers with custom products (minimum of top 5 best-selling SKUs) or high-value items (more than RM250) are eligible
- Examples of high-value items: gold items, luxury watches, jewelry, electronics products, water filter devices, bicycles
Compensation for Damaged Returns
- Sellers can raise a dispute with valid evidence (photo or video) within 5 days upon receiving returned parcel
- If approved, Shopee will compensate sellers for the order accordingly
