Sentence Structure
- Sentences have specific parts, each with a purpose
- A sentence's components include subject, predicate, direct object, indirect object, and complement

- The predicate shows the action or state of being
Subject
- Represents what or whom the sentence is about
- Consists of a noun or pronoun, plus modifiers (words, phrases, or clauses)
Predicate
- Expresses action or being in a sentence
- Includes the verb and any modifiers
Direct Object
- Receives the action of the verb
- Usually a noun or pronoun
Indirect Object
- Indicates to whom or for whom the action is done
- Usually a noun or pronoun
Subject Complement
- Either renames or describes the subject

Adverbs of Definite Frequency
