Types of Poverty

- Moderate Poverty implies that basic needs are met, but barely.
- Relative Poverty is defined as a household income level below a given proportion of average national income.

- Generational Poverty is a more entrenched form of poverty where two generations have lived in poverty, making it harder for them to improve their circumstances.
