The Oneness of Allah

Allah says in the Quran, "Say! He is Allah, He is One," meaning He is absolute in unity and impossible to have an equal in His self, actions, or attributes.
The word "One" here is absolute, meaning Allah cannot be divided or have parts.
Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal explained that Allah is One in every sense of the meaning, whereas everything else is one in one sense but not in others.

The Six Attributes of Allah

The six attributes mentioned are existence, and five attributes that negate imperfections.
The first attribute, existence, is an "Attribute of Self" and refers to what exists without additional meaning.
The other five attributes are negations of imperfections, including having a beginning, an end, resemblance to creation, need, or having an equal in one's self, actions, or attributes.
