Democracy = A government in which the citizens hold the power to rule. Authoritarian = Government led by a single leader or group of people with absolute power.

Mercantilism = Economic system where colonies exist to make a favorable balance of trade for the mother country. Triangular Trade = Pattern of trade that developed during colonial times among America, Africa, and Europe. Boycott = To abstain from buying or using products from a company or business as a form of protest. Repeal = The action of revoking or annulling a law or congressional act.
