Adaptive Training provides immediate feedback and information tailored to the trainee's needs, targeting specific mistakes and misconceptions.
Coaching guides the trainee through real-world tasks, modeling cognitive processing, providing hints and feedback, and assisting when needed.
Demonstration and Performance presents procedural knowledge and skills, followed by guided and unguided practice when possible and safe.
Drill and Practice enables trainees to apply knowledge or skills repeatedly until mastered, enhancing retention and memorization.
Game-Based Learning uses gameplay to stimulate critical thinking and innovative problem solving, focusing on creativity, imagination, and emotions.
Tutorial requires direct interaction with content, followed by logical points to check comprehension and provide thought-provoking stimuli.

Over-teaching involves tasks that are difficult, critical, and moderately or infrequently performed, requiring a combination of instructional strategies.

The courseware includes opportunities for both integrated and isolated practices to allow scaffolding of complex skills.
Isolated practices focus on individual steps or supporting knowledge and skills.
Integrated practices allow trainees to assess their knowledge and increase skill application before formal assessments.

Instructional strategies are selected based on factors such as LO, available media, job task environment, human interaction, trainee experience, media analysis results, and expected job performance.
One or more instructional strategies are chosen for each ELO to ensure engaging strategies.
