- TK-800 provides two days of storage for maintaining feed rate and Fractionation Section operation during feed upsets like short shutdowns of R-201-205.
- It receives feed from the bottom of D-801, off-spec C20-C24 from T-470, off-spec C24-C28 from T-431, off-spec C30+ from T-430, C6+ from Unit 1791, and the bottom of T-380 (after cooling in E-388).
- P-800A/B pumps route feed from TK-800 to T-400 when the Fractionation Section needs a feed supply.
