The Church as a Communion of Saints
- Charity is voluntary giving of help to those in need.
We are the Body of Christ
- Church: An assembly of God's people, called to come together in communion to partake of the one bread who is Christ.
- Christ: The head of the Church, the image of the invisible God. All members must be formed to His likeness until Christ is formed in them.
- Members who have died with Him and risen with Him are taken up into His life's mysteries until they reign with Him.
Acts 2:42
- Disciples devoted themselves to apostles' teaching, fellowship, breaking of bread, and prayer.

- God sent His Son as Messiah to establish the new people of God—the community of saints (the Church)
