Overview of TGT Examination 2024

• TGT stands for Trained Graduate Teacher, a certification exam for aspiring teachers in India.
• The exam is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT).

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in the relevant subject with a minimum of 50% marks.
• Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Education (B.Ed) or a diploma in Education.
• Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience.

Exam Pattern

• The exam consists of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
• The exam is divided into 4 sections:

  2. Language I (30 questions)
  3. Language II (30 questions)
  4. Subject-specific questions (60 questions)
