Responsibilities

General Guidelines For TFD Employees

  • Must comply with WAC 296-305.
  • Must comply with applicable TFD policies, procedures, and special orders.
  • Must cooperate with the TFD Safety Program and other employees to eliminate workplace accidents.
  • Must apply accident prevention principles.
  • Must attend required safety training and orientation programs when on duty.
  • Must immediately notify supervisors of unsafe work practices/conditions.

  • TFD employees cannot remove/damage any safety device in the workplace.
  • TFD employees cannot interfere with any safety device or method used by TFD.

  • All TFD employees must: use required personal protective equipment and safety devices provided by TFD management, follow safety practices developed by TFD management.
  • Take proper care of all personal protective equipment.

Alchohol and Drugs

  • TFD employees cannot participate in any TFD operation or function while impaired by alcohol or drugs.
