Tennessee Promise Scholarship
- A last-dollar scholarship that covers tuition and fees not covered by the Pell Grant, HOPE Scholarship, or Tennessee Student Assistance Award.
Application Process
- High school students must apply by November 1 for the fall term and complete the FAFSA by March 1.
- Applications must be submitted through the TSAC Student Portal.
- Only one application is required.
Community Service
- Requirements: 8 hours of community service per semester.
- Deadlines:
- Spring: December 1
- Summer: April 1
- Fall: July 1

Changes for 2024
- Starting summer 2024, Tennessee Promise students can enroll part-time for a summer term and receive a payment.
- Part-time summer enrollment will not count toward one of the five semesters of eligibility.
- Students must still submit 8 hours of community service for the April 15th summer deadline to receive payment.
