Tawhid: The Oneness of Allah
- Allah is One, as stated in the Quran: "your god is One God" (4).
- The belief in Allah's uniqueness is a fundamental principle of Islam, encompassing His being, attributes, actions, and worship.
- Allah is unique and has no equal or likeness.
- He is the Creator and Sustainer of all worlds (6).
- He is the Master of the Day of Judgement and will be the Judge (7).
- Allah has no partner, and associating anyone or anything with Him is an act of Shirk, an unforgivable sin unless repented sincerely (8-11).
- Believing in Allah requires complete trust, hope, and submission to His will, relying on His aid (12).
Belief in Angels
- Angels are obedient to Allah and act as His messengers.
- They are created from light and have two, three, or four pairs of wings (13-14).
- Angel Jibril (Gabriel) conveyed Allah's revelations to the Prophet.
- Angels have no knowledge except what Allah has taught them (16).
- They lack free will and act solely according to Allah's will, without disobeying His commands (17).
- Angels are invisible to ordinary mortals, but have appeared in human form to select individuals, such as Ibrahim, Lut, and the Prophet (ra).
- There are four Archangels: Jibril (revelations), Izrail (angel of death), Israfil (trumpet on Judgement Day), and Mikail (nourishment of body and soul).
