Study Notes
Student National Visa Documentation Requirements
- A fully filled in Visa Application form signed by the applicant is required.
- A valid passport with a minimum of 8 months' validity from the date of appointment is necessary.
- One passport photo according to ICAO Standards must be provided.
School Enrolment Letter
- The letter should include details of the course.
- The duration of the course and hours per week must be specified.
- Proof of payment (receipt or invoice number) is required.
Financial Documents
- A Bank Statement of the last 3 months attached with a recent bank certificate is required.
- If the student is sponsored, the sponsor's Bank Statement (last 3 months), a signed Declaration letter, and a copy of the sponsor's identification (front and back) are necessary.
Insurance and Medical Coverage
- For MQF level 5 and over, medical and travel insurance must be valid for the Schengen area, with a minimum medical coverage of €30,000, covering a minimum of 120 consecutive days from the first point of entry in the Schengen area.
- For MQF level 4 and below, medical and travel insurance must be valid for the Schengen area, with a minimum medical coverage of €30,000, valid for the entire duration of stay.

- A full passport copy is required.
- Flight tickets with a full flight itinerary to Malta, indicating the student's name, date of flight, and all stops, must be provided.
- Accommodation arrangements for the first 15 nights from the date of arrival in Malta must be provided, including a lease agreement or a letter from the school.
