Press Releases and Public Information
- Purpose: To ensure timely and accurate information is provided to the public, especially through the news media
- Scope: All fire rescue personnel
- General information requests will be referred to Fire Rescue Administration
- After-hour requests will be forwarded to the department Public Information Officer (PIO) or an on-duty Battalion Chief
Public Information Officer (PIO) Functions
