    Overview of Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) 616

    • Established to standardize high-rise/standpipe packs and bags for Clearwater Fire & Rescue Department.
    • Approved by Fire Chief Scott Ehlers; effective since January 25, 2008, with revisions in December 2019.

    High-Rise/Standpipe Packs

    • Consists of three packs, each containing 75 feet of 2-inch hose.
      • Pack one: includes a 2.5-inch smooth bore nozzle with a 1 1/8-inch tip.
      • Pack two and three: hoses without nozzles.
    • Hose color is specified as Key Fire Hose GREEN.
    • All packs to be taken into the structure for deployment when responding to fires or alarms in high-rise buildings or those beyond pre-connected hose reach.
