Sins against the Ten Commandments
- Atheism is the denial of God's existence.
- Idolatry involves worshipping a creature instead of the Creator.

- Contraception prevents conception through mechanical, chemical, or medical procedures, violating the openness to procreation required by marriage.

- Anger that is not controlled by reason or hardens into resentment and hate is a capital sin.
- Suicide is the willful taking of one's own life.

- Concupiscence/ Sexual desires are disordered desires stemming from original sin and inclination to sin.
