Sexual Orientation

- Experts agree that sexual orientation is not a choice and cannot be changed.
Coming Out
- A life-long process of developing a positive gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender identity.
Gender Identity
- A person's internal sense of being a man, woman, or neither.
- It may or may not correspond to a person's sex assigned at birth or their primary or secondary sexual characteristics.
- Gender identity includes cisgender, transgender, and genderqueer.
Gender Expression
- How an individual presents themselves to the world.
- It may or may not conform to their gender identity.
- It can include masculine, feminine, and androgynous styles.
Passionate Love
