Elements

  • There are four Elements: Containers, Interior, Exterior, and Vehicles.
  • In the Containers Element, the hide is concealed within a container, and the dog must indicate which container has the hide.
  • In the Interior Element, the hide is concealed on, under, or in an object or concealed within the environment in an indoor search area.
  • In the Exterior Element, the hide is concealed on, under, or in an object or concealed within the environment in an outdoor search area.
  • In the Vehicles Element, the hide is concealed on the exterior of a vehicle.

  • The target odour can be one or more pure essential oils, including Birch, Anise, Clove, and Cypress.

  • Dogs must not wear electric, prong, choke, limited slip collars, head halters, or no-pull harnesses, among other prohibited items.
