Academic Honesty Contract
- Students will not copy another person’s work, in whole or in part, and turn it in as their own
- Students will not consult unauthorized material or information during summative assessments
- Students will not plagiarize
- Students will follow the direction of their teacher for formative and summative assessments
- During an exam or test, students will keep quiet, not talk to any student, look at anyone else’s paper, or allow anyone else to see their paper
- Students will not retrieve unauthorized information, communicate exam information or answers, or share their own work, materials, and/or information or that of others with other students
- Students will not seek out or provide unwarranted access to materials or information to another student
- Students will not turn in an original paper or project more than once for different classes or assignments
Review and Update Information
- The Principals and IBCs will revisit the Academic Integrity Philosophy and Procedures annually to ensure consistency with IB philosophy, standards and practices, and rules and regulations
- Faculty members have the opportunity to provide input and feedback on the document
- A comprehensive review of the document will be held in line with the HIS policy review cycle
