Default Locale

    • Can be used by creating a new Lightning page dragging the Field and Field Section components or opening existing page.
  • Dynamic Forms is compatible with the majority of standard LWC-enabled objects
    • They are not supported for a specific object if Fields tab is not available in the components panel (ex. Campaigns, Products, and Tasks use info in page layout).

Dynamic Interactions

  • Dynamic Interactions enable Lightning web components (source) to communicate with other custom Lightning components (target) that exist on the same Lightning App page.
    • Ex: a button is clicked which signals the data is to be communicated
    • while the target is a Aura Component or LWC, but for the source you MUST use LWC
  • Source and Target Components need programatic customization
    • The LWC uses target component that is specified by is specified in the Lightning App builder
    • It has an interaction tab in its properties panel on Lightning that lists available or exposed by the source component.
