Completing Routine Inspections

  • Review all items from the inspection checklist during a Routine Inspection
  • If unable to complete the inspection report within normal working hours, suspend the inspection and complete the report
  • Return to the facility within five working days and complete the Routine Inspection
  • Ensure all items not covered in the first visit are reviewed

Risk Assessment

  • All non-compliance from the Routine Inspection must be included in the Risk Assessment form
  • The Risk Assessment Tool only pulls non-compliance from the last Routine inspection posted in the database
  • Does not pull non-compliance from other inspection types, including Routine Follow-up Inspections
