    Study Notes

    RLMU Presentation Standards

    • RLMUs must be combined into a single electronic file and stored outside of D2 during 'Wave 1'.
    • Entire documents must be submitted, not selected pages.
    • Example: Multi-sheet items (e.g. RATTS, Wiring Diagrams) must be submitted as entire documents, not just affected sheets.
    • Single-sheet documents (e.g. P&IDs) must be submitted with only the redlined page, not the entire series.
    • Each RLMU must be in a single file, named as the document number followed by an underscore and the revision number (e.g. 'LPP-TS-LSM-PRS-PFD-3010_Z0A.pdf').

    Consolidated Line Lists

    • Redline mark-ups for documents (e.g. line lists, cable schedules) can be managed using native Excel files.
    • Approved users must follow this process for native file updates:
      • Download the native file for the MOC cycle.
      • Make changes to the document in red font (e.g. insert rows, change existing values).
      • Use green cell color to denote deletions.

    Colour Codes for RLMUs

    • RED: indicates additions, modifications, and notes to be incorporated into the final document
    • BLUE: used for notes or comments to convey instructions in IFC documentation, but not to be incorporated into the final document
    • PINK: temporary changes, such as those associated with a TMOC
    • GREEN: removal or deletion of temporary or permanent changes (RED single line strikeout can also be used)

    Marking Up Documents

    • Additions for future equipment (e.g. future projects) use a chain-type dotted line with a note stating "Reserved for Future Work"
    • Revision triangles are used on IFC documents to identify multiple revisions against the same MOC or Project number
    • MOC changes must be clouded, and the MOC reference clearly identified
    • The MOC number must be placed inside the cloud for clarity
    • Clouding remains on the document until the MOC is blacklined
    • When a whole page or section is changed, the clouding borders the affected page or section

    Markup in Native Excel Files

    • Markup in native Excel files is only acceptable if the first markup is done in Excel with the line item following the clouding colours
    • A cover-page must still be issued with the native file with the required approval

    Exceptions

    • Revision block and MOC sign-off do not require clouding
    • Only drafting changes require clouding
