Female Reproductive System

• Uterus: The muscular organ where fetal development occurs during pregnancy.
• Fallopian Tube: Tubes that transport eggs from the ovaries to the uterus; site of fertilization.
• Ovary: Organs that produce eggs and hormones like estrogen and progesterone.
• Fimbrae: Finger-like projections at the end of the fallopian tubes that help guide the egg.
• Cervix: The lower part of the uterus that opens into the vagina; plays a key role during childbirth.
• Vagina: The canal leading from the cervix to the outside of the body; serves as the birth canal and the organ of sexual intercourse.

Male Reproductive System

• Testis: The male reproductive organ that produces sperm and hormones, primarily testosterone.
• Prostate Gland: A gland that produces fluid that nourishes and protects sperm during ejaculation.
• Urethra: The duct through which urine and semen are expelled from the body.
• Scrotum: The pouch that contains the testis; regulates temperature for optimal sperm production.
• Seminal Vesicle: Glands that secrete fluid that becomes a significant portion of semen.
• Cowper's Gland: Also known as bulbourethral glands, they secrete a pre-ejaculate fluid that lubricates the urethra.
