RECRUIT TRAINING ORDER (RTO)
- Mission: Transform civilians into Marines through indoctrination, customs, traditions, and values-based training.
- Commander's Intent: To instill core values, character, discipline, physical and mental toughness, strength, and respect of fellow Marines.
RECRUIT TRAINING ENVIRONMENT
- Scope and Objectives: The 13-week, entry-level program transforms recruits into Marines while providing a foundation in history, customs, and traditions.
- Directive Terminology: Definitions are given for key terms within the document (keywords and their definitions).
- Personal Conduct & Supervision: Standards for personal conduct with respect to safety, discipline, and morality.
