Material Receiving Procedure
- The procedure is designed to facilitate material receiving during normal working hours, after hours, weekends, and holidays.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Invista Security: contact F-Unit when there is an incoming shipment for F-Unit at Invista main gate, phone: 361-572-1569
- Receiving Technician: bring in shipments and trucks to F-Unit for unloading as needed, receive packing lists, phone: 361-572-1635, cell phone: 361-676-6743
- F-Unit MRO Coordinator: bring in shipments and trucks to F-Unit for unloading as needed, receive packing lists, phone: 361-572-1137
- F-Unit Control Room: bring in shipments and trucks to F-Unit for unloading as needed, phone: 361-572-1364
Receiving Material During Normal Working Hours
- Invista security will contact F-Unit Receiving during normal working hours for all incoming shipments
- If Receiving Technician is unavailable, Invista security will contact F-Unit MRO Coordinator, and then F-Unit control room
- F-Unit control room will attempt to contact receiving if available to bring in shipment
- If receiving can't be reached, day operator will bring in shipment
- Raw material delivery documentation goes to production personnel for receiving
- All other paperwork goes through MRO receiving personnel
Receiving Material After Hours
- Invista security will contact F-Unit control room for all after hours deliveries
- F-Unit production personnel will bring in shipments and trucks for unloading as needed
- Raw material delivery documentation goes to production personnel for receiving
- All other paperwork goes through MRO receiving personnel
