Types of Clocks
- There are two types of clocks: digital and analog.

Analog Clock

Clock Hands

- The hour hand points to the hour on the clock face.
- The minute hand is longer than the hour hand and points to the minutes on the clock face.
- The second hand is the longest hand, which tells us how many seconds have passed in the minute.
Time of Day
- Hours between 12:00 midnight and 12:00 noon are read as A.M. (e.g., 6:00 AM).
- Hours between 12:00 noon and 12:00 midnight are read as P.M. (e.g., 6:00 PM).
Reading Time
- To read the hour, look at the hour hand and the number it is pointing to.
- To find the minute, look at the number the minute hand is pointing to.
