Vocabulary
Vocabulary List
- Approximately 800 Japanese vocabulary words are tested in the JLPT N5
- Words are divided into three categories:
- Joyo kanji (): 80 kanji characters, including basic kanji and compounds
- Non-Joyo kanji (): 10-15 kanji characters that are not Joyo but are commonly used
- Vocabulary words (): Around 700 words, including basic phrases and expressions

Vocabulary Tips
- Focus on learning vocabulary in context, rather than individual words
