  • Amnesia: partial or complete loss of memory
  • Apathy: absence of interest or emotion in a situation that would ordinarily arouse a response
  • Autism: subjective thinking with much introspection, resulting in fantasy, delusion, and hallucination

  • Conflict: two opposing incompatible drives or action systems requiring the individual to make a choice between possible responses
  • Conversion: the expression of an emotional conflict as a physical symptom, relieving anxiety and unpleasant feelings
