Project States

DRAFT:
- Initial state for a project upon conversion.
- Indicates the project is in the planning stage.
ACTIVE:
- Signifies that a project is fully scoped and ready for execution.
ON HOLD:
- Used when a project is temporarily stalled, often due to waiting for decisions or resource support.
CANCELLED:
- Represents a project that is deemed unnecessary or has been de-scoped.
COMPLETE:
- Indicates no further work is planned.
- A project automatically transitions to this state once the last task is marked as 100% complete.

Clarizen Configuration for Comcast

Event Reporting and Collision Calendars are based on defining a task as an "IMPACT EVENT" and specifying its associated markets.
Ensure correct view by selecting Impact Scheduling View from the top menu while adding/editing Impact Events.
In Impact Scheduling View, two new fields appear in the Work Plan: Impact Event and Markets Impacted.

Types of Impact Events

DEPLOYMENT: Represents full Division or Region launches, indicating project implementation dates for customers, employees, or systems.
TRIAL: Involves market trials, employee trials, and proof of concept initiatives.
CUSTOMER COMMUNICATIONS: Encompasses targeted and broad project-related communications with customers.

Assigning Impact Events

Select the Impact Event column field adjacent to the task to assign an Impact Event.
A drop-down list provides six Impact Event types for selection.
For launching the OTT App, choose the Deployment Impact Event type, utilizing primarily single-day launch events.

Identifying Impacted Markets

After assigning an Impact Event, specify the impacted markets by selecting the Markets Impacted column field next to the task.
An editing pane allows for typing the market name or selecting from a list of available markets.
Users can select individual markets, divisions, regional markets, or all markets across regions.
A visual representation of all available markets is accessible for reference.
