Army Maintenance Management System

• DA PAM 750-8 covers The Army Maintenance Management System (TAMMS).

Levels of Army Maintenance System

• Field level involves operator/crew maintenance, critical for the Army Maintenance Command (AMC).
• Sustainment level pertains to the repair of components and end items, focusing on commodity needs.

Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS)

• PMCS should be performed before, during, and after equipment operation, as well as on a weekly and monthly basis.

DD Form 314

• Serves as the Preventative Maintenance Schedule and Record.

Equipment Record Folder

• Contains DA Form 2404 or DA Form 5988 E for maintenance and inspection records.
• Also includes DA Form 2408-14 for deferred maintenance, SF 91 for accident reporting, DD Form 518 for accident identification, and vehicle utilization records (DA Form 5987 E or DD Form 1970).

Safety Equipment for Vehicle Dispatch

• Must include fire extinguishers with current inspection tags, a complete first aid kit, and a highway warning kit.

Leak Classifications

• Class 1 leak: Seepage of fluid too minor to form drops.
• Class 2 leak: Seepage sufficient to form drops, but not enough for them to fall during inspection.
• Class 3 leak: Seepage capable of forming drops that can fall to the ground.

Prescribed Load List (PLL)

• PLL refers to the inventory items necessary for unit maintenance, sustaining a unit for 15 days.
