Present Perfect Simple
- Used for actions starting in the past and continuing into the present, or recent past events still important.
- Formed with "have" or "has" (depending on the subject) + past participle of the main verb.
- Negative: Add "not" after "have" or "has" (e.g., haven't, hasn't).
- Interrogative: Change word order (e.g., Has he... ?). Wh-questions are placed at the beginning (e.g., What has he done...).
- Time expressions like "never," "ever," "many times," "already," are frequently used.
Present Perfect Continuous
- Expresses an action starting in the past and continuing to the present.
- Often uses prepositions of time to specify the duration of the action.
- Can also describe an action that began in the past and ended at a specific point in the past, but the action's impact continues.
- Formed using "have/has + been + verb + -ing."
