Overview
Prayer, known as Salah in Islam, is one of the Five Pillars of Islam, a set of actions considered mandatory by believers and prescribed by Allah as part of an unconditional obligation. These pillars define the relationship between a worshiper and Allah based on the belief in one Abrahamic god, performing acts of worship, giving alms, observing fasts, making pilgrimages, and purifying oneself through ablution.
