Picture or Texture Fill
- Adding images or textures as slide backgrounds is possible.
- Several pre-set textures are available within PowerPoint.
- To apply a texture:
- Access the "Format Background" pane and select "Picture or texture fill".
- Choose a texture from the drop-down menu.
- The chosen texture becomes the slide's background.
Inserting Pictures
- There are three methods for inserting pictures as backgrounds:
- From a file on your computer (using the "File" button).
- From the clipboard.
- From online searches.
- Method 1 (File):
- Click the "File" button within the "Insert picture from" section.
- Select the desired picture from the "Insert Picture" dialog box (refer to Fig. 5.12b).
- Click "Open".
- The chosen picture becomes the slide's background.
