  • Achieve physical fitness for health and performance while understanding fitness concepts, principles, and strategies
  • Apply psychological and sociological concepts to learn and perform physical activities

Freshman Core Grade 9 & PE Recreation / Athletic PE Grades 10-12

  • Participate in various movement activities to build a foundation for lifelong health
  • Improve physical fitness, be respectful, and develop skills in physical activities
  • No access to locker rooms; students must come dressed out prior to class

PE Uniforms and Attire

  • Wear athletic attire, closed-toed shoes, and hats (optional)
  • Avoid clothing that restricts movement, is too tight/loose, or unsafe
  • Prohibited clothing includes crop tops, tank tops, dresses, skirts, sandals, high heels, platforms, and shoes with wheels
  • Shoes should be non-marking, soft-soled, and less than one inch high

Assessment and Participation
