Dinagyang Festival

• Held in Iloilo City, every 4th Sunday of January
• Celebrates the arrival of Malay settlers in Panay Island and the conversion of the natives to Christianity
• Features street dancing, music, and costumes inspired by the indigenous people of Panay
• Ati-Atihan tribes perform in honor of the Santo Niño (Child Jesus)

Sinulog Festival

• Held in Cebu City, every 3rd Sunday of January
• Celebrates the feast of the Santo Niño (Child Jesus)
• Features colorful street parades, dancing, and music
• Participants wear costumes and headdresses adorned with flowers, feathers, and other decorations

Pintados Festival

• Held in Tacloban City, Leyte, every 29th of June
• Celebrates the arrival of Spanish colonizers and the conversion of the native people to Christianity
• Features body painting, where participants paint their bodies to resemble the tattoos of the ancient warriors
• Includes street dancing, music, and cultural performances

Panagbenga Festival

• Held in Baguio City, every February
• Celebrates the blooming of flowers and the city's title as the "Summer Capital of the Philippines"
• Features street dancing, cultural performances, and flower-filled floats
• Includes a grand parade, cultural shows, and a flower festival

MassKara Festival

• Held in Bacolod City, every 3rd weekend of October
• Celebrates the city's recovery from the 1985 tragedy when a tanker ship collided with a passenger ship, killing thousands
• Features colorful masks and costumes, street dancing, and music
• Includes a grand parade, cultural performances, and a food festival
