Leaves Containing Glycosides
- Eucalyptus leaves are obtained from Mediterranean countries and contain volatile oils (0.5-4%), cineole (54-95%), tannins, and triterpenes and flavonoids (traces).
- Eucalyptus is used as an astringent, antiseptic, decongestant, expectorant, and bronchodilator.
