Lotion Advertisement example using The AIDA Model

- Interest: Provide some interesting facts about the product. For example; "With this lotion you'll get Vitamin B5, which will give you extra moisture Silkier and softer skin for those Instagram selfies and Tiktok videos, 24-hour hydration to keep you feeling fresh and smooth, Vitamin C, a vitamin that helps achieve that light skin and A fresh light scent that isn't overpowering, but is just enough to boost your looks to the next level"
- Desire: Make them desire the product. Example;"life is short and you only live once, you have to live in the moment before it's gone, so why not live and look your all time best? This lotion will make sure that you're looking like you've never looked before."
- Action: Describe exactly how/when they should take action. Example; "Pick up the phone and call 1234-567 and we will answer any questions you have or if you want, send us an email ([email protected]) to avail of an exclusive 20% discount. This is only available for customers who will purchase within the week."
Guidelines for Creating an AIDA Speech Advertisement
- Choose a Partner
- Conceptulize an advertisement
- Choose a specific group to focus marketing towards, e.g. teachers, middle class, politicians, chefs, athletes etc
- Choose a unique and useful service or product that caters to the chosen group
- Aim to persuade them to buy the product or service
- Utilize the correct template to write out your AIDA speech
- Use Arial as a font, size 12
- Design a creative poster using a tool like Canva, Photoshop or Snappa
