The Whole Person

  • An individual is composed of three key aspects: Physical, Intellectual, and Emotional
  • All three aspects should work in harmony

Physical Aspect

  • The physical aspect is often emphasized, but it doesn't automatically mean good health or strength
  • The body houses the spirit (feelings) and the mind (thoughts)

Intellectual Aspect

  • The mind guides the physical and emotional aspects
  • The mind learns and communicates information to the body and feelings
  • The mind's beliefs manifest in the body's actions
  • Individuals store both positive and negative thoughts and beliefs.

Emotional Aspect

  • Emotions are often feared and difficult to manage
  • Unmanaged negative emotions can be stored and repressed
  • Repression harms the self, hindering the ability to access feelings when needed.
