Past Simple: Regular Verbs
- Formed using the base form of the verb + -ed (e.g., walk -> walked)
- Examples:
- I walked to school.
- She played the piano.
- They watched TV.
- Spelling rules for -ed:
- Verbs ending in -e, add -d (e.g., love -> loved)
- Verbs ending in consonant + y, change y to -ied (e.g., try -> tried)
- Verbs ending in consonant + consonant, double the last consonant (e.g., stop -> stopped)

- Do not follow the -ed rule
- Must be memorized
- Examples:
