Parts of A Flower
- Sepals are the protective, outer layers of the flower.
- Petals are the colorful, inner parts of the flower, often brightly colored.

- Carpels (Pistil) are the female reproductive parts. They are composed of the stigma, style, and ovary.

- The ovary contains ovules which develop into seeds after fertilization.
- Ovules are the structures inside the ovary that develop into seeds.
