Mission of the AFP

• The AFP’s mission is to defend the Republic of the Philippines, safeguard its national territory, and assist the government in socio-economic programs.

Philippine Air Force (PAF)

• Mission: To organize, train, equip, and provide forces to conduct prompt and sustained air operations to accomplish the AFP Mission.
• Vision: More Capable and Credible Air Force Responsive to National Security and Development.

Philippine Army (PA)

• Mission: To conduct prompt and sustained ground operations.

Philippine Navy

• Mission: To conduct prompt and sustained naval and maritime operations.

Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC)

• Mission: To organize, train, equip, develop, and administer the PAF reservist force as the base expansion in the event of war, invasion, rebellion, disaster, or calamities, and to assist in the socio-economic development efforts of the government.

Air Reserve Center (ARCen)

• Mission: To develop, train, and utilize the PAF Citizen Armed Forces within the Area of Responsibility.
