Preparation of a fire truck prior to a fire, including ensuring communication access, adequate fuel and water levels, and wearing protective equipment (EPI).

Immediately notifying the Incident Command Post (COP) upon arrival at a fire scene; providing information regarding incident location, fire type, and progress.

Deciding on the attack zone, safe areas, escape routes, vehicle positioning for swift exit, water refueling points, and continuously reviewing fire protocols.

Ensuring necessary equipment and resources(fuel,water) are checked and available at the scene of the incident. This is critical before beginning any work.

Communicating to the Incident Commander whenever a firetruck's presence is no longer needed; following up with the provincial operations center (COP) about withdrawal; communicating destination/base.
