    Omaha Police Department (OPD) Mental Health Warrant Procedures

    • OPD coordinates with Douglas County Sheriff's Office (DCSO) for mental health warrants.

    • If a citizen suspects a person is mentally ill and dangerous, they should contact the County Attorney for a warrant.
