Storage and Responsibility

Narcotics and medications are stored on ALS apparatus in sealed drug boxes.
Each apparatus will contain two drug boxes under the primary custody of assigned paramedics.
Control of drug boxes is maintained on the person or in the fixed vault on the apparatus.

Tagging System

Drug boxes are sealed with security tags:
- Blue Tag: Denotes unopened, fully stocked drug box.
- Red Tag: Indicates used drug box that needs replacement.

Unopened Drug Boxes Management
