Inner and Outer Planets
- Inner planets, also known as terrestrial planets, include Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars; they are characterized by their rocky compositions.
- Outer planets, or gas giants, consist of Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune; they are primarily made up of gases and are much larger than the inner planets.
Apogee and Perigee
- Apogee refers to the point in the orbit of an object that is farthest from the Earth.
