Fonts in MS Word

  • Commonly used fonts in MS Word include various options.
  • By default, the font used for text in MS Word is a specific one.
  • The look of a font can be varied by changing font style, size, and other attributes.

Formatting in MS Word

  • The Mini Toolbar appears when the user selects text.
  • The Font group includes buttons for changing font and most font attributes.
  • If a font attribute does not appear in the Font group, click the Dialog Box Launcher.
  • The Dialog Box Launcher displays additional font attributes.

Paragraphs in MS Word

  • A paragraph is created by typing text and then pressing the Enter key.
  • The look of a paragraph can be changed by modifying alignment, indentation, and spacing.

Margins and Alignment in MS Word

  • To define the margins of the document, click the Page Layout tab.
