Mounting Options

Antenna Placement Considerations
- Ground Plane: Require a metallic surface (at least 20” x 20” or 5 inches from all sides of antenna) for optimal performance.
- Interference: Maintain at least 24 inches distance from electrical devices (lights, routers, other antennas) to avoid signal interference.
- Signal Loss: Avoid installation near thick materials (concrete, metal) to prevent significant signal loss.
Installation Instructions
- Magnetic Mount: Position on a flat metallic surface with strong attraction.
- Adhesive Mount: Clean the surface, remove backing and press.
- Screw Mount: Drill holes at the chosen location using anchors and screws.
Cable Routing & Connection
- Carefully route cables, avoiding sharp bends and securing approximately 6 inches from the antenna.
- Connect cables to router using the correct connections:
- CELL 1 to MAIN0
- CELL 2 to AUX0 / DIV
- Wi-Fi 1 to 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi 1
- Wi-Fi 2 to 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi 2
- GPS to GNSS
Commissioning & Testing
- Ensure all connections are secure.
- Verify signal strength (RSSI > -75dB) on a cellular device.
- Confirm cellular connection supports required data rates.
Safety Warnings
- Maintain a 20cm separation distance from the antenna (FCC RF exposure requirements)
- Do not operate antenna around individuals within 24 inches.
- Avoid installation on windy days or near power lines.
